Toshiba Adds To The Satellite Series With The T210

Toshiba continues forward with their Satellite notebook series with their newest release: the T210. Those familiar with the others in the Satellite series may notice the similarity in design, however, Toshiba’s beefed up the inner workings a bit. The T210 comes with 1.2GHz ULV processor and is upgradeable up to 3 gigs of DDR3 RAM. Weighing in at 3 pounds and getting as thin as 0.7 inches, the T210 is also a very portable device – perfect for being carried around. With Toshiba’s reputation for sturdiness and quality, this little baby will probably last you a while.
Here are the full technical specs for those interested in it:
- 11.6” 1366 x 768 display
- Intel Pentium U5400 ULV processor (1.2GHz)
- Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
- Up to 3GB DDR3 RAM
- Up to 250GB HDD + 3D impact sensor
- 2x USB 2.0, eSATA/USB combo, HDMI, card reader, audio jacks
- 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi
- Bluetooth 2.1
- VGA webcam
- 6-cell battery (8.5 hours battery life)
Toshiba projected a July release in the UK. No word on the US release and no prices have been set. Watch out for this if you’re looking for a quality netbook.
