Last week, signs of Toshiba’s netbook, the NB100 spread across the web courtesy of Toshiba Mexico. Since there was no official word yet from Toshiba that time, everybody took it as another pre-empted announcement which might likely happen after several more months.
But taking a cue from Dell, Toshiba decided to launched it own netbook now. And so we finally have an official statement coming from Toshiba regarding the NB100.
Like we said before, the NB100 looks sleek and professional to make the netbook in tune with the business/corporate setting.
Anyway we now have the following specs for the Toshiba NB100:
- 8.9-inch LCD display resolution (1024 x 600)
- 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor
- 512MB or 1GB of RAM
- 120GB of HD
- 0.3 megapixel webcam
- Wi-Fi
- USB, VGA, Audio and Ethernet ports.
The Toshiba NB100 will be available next month for a retail price of around $469.
