Laptopmag is running a detailed review Toshiba’s first netbook entry to the U.S. market – the NB205. And if you are to judge the netbook by their review, it seems that Toshiba might have done it right for the netbook market.

Of utmost important is the fact that the Toshiba NB205 yielded 8 hours and 33 minutes of battery life. That’s by far the longest running time for a netbook that we’ve known so far.

Other notable features of the NB205 is its great keyboard and a normal sized trackpad. Plus of course you’d also get the usual netbook fare such as Intel Atom CPU, 160GB HDD, 1GB RAM, Windows XP, WiFi.

Check out Laptopmag’s full review of the Toshiba NB205 here.

Listen to the audio before you buy this mini laptop. The sound is weak and tinny, coming from one small speaker located at the bottom of the laptop.
