Toshiba Offers its Dynabook R731/W5UE Notebook
In the face of tough competition from other Japanese manufacturers, Toshiba is soon releasing a new notebook in its native. The new notebook is called the Toshiba Dynabook R731/W5UE.
This notebook, like the other ones recently unveiled by Toshiba, features a lightweight and slim design. Its dimensions are 316.0mm × 227.0mm ×18.3 and it weighs only 1.45kg.
The central processing unit of the Toshiba Dynabook R731/W5UE is powered by a speedy 2.80GHz Intel Core i7-2640M, with an Intel QM67 Express Chipset. Its RAM of 8GB DDR3 RAM likewise adds to this speed. It has a Solid State Disk (Serial ATA) with a 256 GB capacity. It also comes with the Windows 7 Professional 32 or 64 bit operating system as well as Microsoft Office.
The Toshiba Dynabook R731/W5UE is also equipped with a 16:9 High Definition TFT screen, with LED backlighting. It has a pixel display resolution of 1366 x 758. It is also capable of Wi-Fi IEEE802.11a/b/g/n (WPA/WPA2, WEP, AES, TKIP) and WiMAX (6250 IEEE802.16e-2005) connectivity. Other features include a 1.3 megapixel webcam and an HDMI port. There is also a Blu-Ray disk drive and Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR.
The R731/W5UE retails for 241,800 Yen or about USD 3,108.
