Toshiba Reveals New Satellite L800 and C800 Laptop Series

Toshiba has unveiled two new lineups of mainstream notebooks through the Satellite L800 and Satellite C800 laptop series. Both are expected to provide a better performance and stylish designs.

With the Satellite L800, ideal for families, students and small entrepreneurs, will feature the 3rd generation Intel Core processors or the latest multi-core Accelerated processing units from AMD. The Toshiba Satellite L800 laptops will offer a great performance for multitasking, productivity and light gaming. This series features HD TruBrite displays and are available in three screen sizes: 14-inch, 15.6-inch and 17.3-inch.

Designed with Toshiba’s stylish Fusion II finished with a new cross line pattern in a variety of colors. It also includes comfortable full-sized keyboard with a 10-key feature on the 15.6-inch and 17.3-inch to improve performance and style. In addition, the updated Satellite L800 now includes a multi-touch control track pad that is larger than the previous generations to maximize usability.

Moreover, the Satellite L800 comes with other features such as USB Sleep and Charge which enables users to charge other electronic devices while the laptop is powered down, Personal Computer Health Monitor, Eco Utility, and an enhanced SRS premium sound HD. Selected configuration features a Blu-ray Disc player, a high-definition webcam and HDMI port.

In the latter part, the Satellite C800 series laptops deliver basic productivity for value-minded, budget-conscious consumer. It will be available in 14-inch, 15.6-inch and 17.3-inch sizes and will run and Intel or AMD’s next generation processors, up to 500 GB in hard drive space, and a range of connectivity options including USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports.

The new Toshiba Satellite C800 also includes a webcam with face recognition technology, a DVD drive, and a full-sized keyboard and will also come in variety of designs and colors.

The Toshiba Satellite L845 will be priced starting at $450, Satellite L855 at $500 and the Satellite L875 retails at $600. While the Toshiba Satellite C800 to cost $399.99 and will soon be available in the third quarter of 2012.
