Toshiba Thrive Tablet Available for $380 and Above

Toshiba’s latest 7-inch Thrive Android Tablet is now available for purchase in stores and online. The tablet was offered for pre-order at some online shops for $430 last week. However, its price has gone down for as low as $379.99 per unit.

Standing at a slim .5-inches and weighing in at just 10.8lbs, it fits easily into a bag or jacket. Under the hood, you will notice a lot of power behind this device. The 7-inch Thrive has a 1280×800 screen resolution display. It runs on 1Ghz NVIDIA Tegra II dual core processor, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of storage.  It is also operated by Google Android 3.2 Honeycomb. The tablet also features a micro HDMI port, microSD card slot as well as a mini USB port.

The Thrive tablet is designed to bring more than just tablet experience, all from slim, lightweight and easy to hold with just one hand. For the price that it’s being offered, its definitely a great buy to those who are looking for small, yet powerful, tablet.
