Toshiba Unleashed Satellite S955 Laptop
Toshiba hath now introduced the new Satellite S955, which will be available in the market on October 6th this year. This satellite laptop is for those who are on a budget, but still want an impressive device that looks cool as an ultrabook. But not to disappoint the consumers out there, this isn’t an actual ultrabook though.
The Toshiba Satellite S955 is a 15-incher, 5-pound notebook PC that will support Windows 8 touch gestures, but unfortunately it isn’t a hybrid. It only has a fairly large touchpad to support these functions.
This notebook PC may be cheap, but it surely doesn’t look like it. The S955 has an armrest and lid that is made of aluminum’ so somehow rest assured that this laptop will last more than any other affordable notebooks in the market.
Aside from the Windows 8 OS, the S955 will have your choice of Ivy Bridge Core i5 CPU or an AMD A8 APU. And if you can afford to spend a little more cash, you can add up to 8 GB of RAM. For storage you will have to 750 GB of hard drive space. Other inclusions are HDMI output, an Ethernet jack, a DVD optical drive and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity.
