Toshiba Unleashes Laptops At MWC
Barcelona’s MWC 2011 has been the center of attention for the past few days. This is mostly because of the plethora of tech announcements coming from there – a majority of which are in the tablet and phone markets. Well, Toshiba marches to its own drum and threw out something different: laptops!
The Japanse manufacturer has just shown off three new models for the Satellite line: the 13.3-inch R830, 14-inch R840, and 15.6-inch R850. They’re essentially upgraded versions of the company’s Portege R700 series , boasting the latest Sandy Bridge CPUs and a better cooling system. They’ve also all got the ability to be upgraded to 8GB of RAM and 640GB of hard disk storage, SSDs, and come with USB 3.0.
Pretty vague for specs, but expect more info and even a price tag as April, their release date, approaches.
