Toshiba unveil netbook with full sized keyboard

Toshiba have unveiled a new netbook the NB250, which will feature a full sized Toshiba keyboard, making it easy to type on. The touchpad is also on the large side, which provides the netbook with easy navigation, while being comfortable to type on. Despite the larger keyboard and touchpad, the screen size is only 10.1 inches, capable of displaying up to 1024×600 pixel resolution on it’s TruBrite LED screen. Even though it has a full sized keyboard, it’s still small and light enough to fit into any small bag. With the standard 3 cell battery, the Toshiba netbook measures 63 x 192.3 x 25.4 (front) / 32.25 mm (back) and weighs 1.12 kg. While with a 6 cell battery, the size is 263 x 211.5 x 25.4 (front) / 32.25 mm (back) and the weight increases to 1.33 kg. There’s no information on how long the netbook lasts with the 3 cell battery but, battery life is stated as being up to 8.5 hours with the 6 cell.
Other specs of the netbook are pretty normal. You get the Intel Atom N455 1.66GHz CPU, 1GB of RAM and upto 250GB HDD. It also has support for Wifi b,g and n, as well as having Bluetooth 2.1. The netbook will also have a multi card reader and two USB 2.0 ports. It also comes with one eSATA/USB combo port, upping the number of USB ports to three.
