Toshiba has announced that it plans to add an internal UMTS antenna to its plump NB100 netbook in March. This should help bolster the sales of this rather bland-looking netbook, though the battery life will surely be the first one to take a hit out of this. Toshiba didn’t specify how much exactly will be added to the NB100’s price with the addition of built-in 3G, but it shouldn’t be too far away from the original price. Aside from adding integrated UMTS, no other improvements are mentioned for the Toshiba NB100.
