Much faster setup than Windows! Unfortunately the little Eee doesn’t quite have enough grunt to decode and display H264 encoded programs (HDTV - you need a Core 2 Duo to do that properly), but it only eats up about 40% of the 701’s Celeron CPU decoding and displaying SDTV at full-screen. Very smooth, clear and great. Works pretty well on the move too! Co-exists with Compiz Fusion quite happily as well. About the only annoyance is that it doesn't come with a remote control, but honestly, if you're going to sit that far away from your Eee to NEED a remote, you must have bloody good eyesight...! 8/10 rating from me. It loses a point for not really being small enough to strip and insert inside the Eee somewhere...
