Two Android tablets unveiled by Camangi

Camangi have already released a tablet which ran on the Android platform. Unfortunately, the tablet was rather underwhelming but, the company haven’t given up hope. They have just unveiled two new tablets which will both run Android.

The company will release the Camangi II. Unfortunately there aren’t many details surrounding the device at the moment. Carrypad however have reported that it will feature a 1GHz Samsung CPU. We also know that it will run Android 2.2, which is the latest version of Android available currently.

Information on Camangi’s other tablet is not as sparse. Like the Camangi II it will also run Android 2.2. However the FM600 will feature a processor that isn’t quite as good, only 600MHz. While it’s not the best, it should still perform well and will allow Camangi to keep the price of the FM600 tablet relatively low. 512MB of RAM and ROM is also included, as well as a 3 megapixel camera on the back and a VGA camera on the front. The screen size will be 7″, capable of displaying a 800×480 pixel resolution. The screen will be a capacitive touchscreen. Other features of the FM600 include a SIM card slot, compass and an accelerometer. All the Google apps and Android Market will also be present on the tablet.
