ViewSonic Announces Two New Netbooks – VNB100 and VNB101
Here we two new netbooks from ViewSonic – the VNB100 and VNB101. Despite the small difference in these netbooks’ names, they however are very different in terms of design.
The VNB100 will be available in four different colors – black, white, yellow and hot pink while the VNB101 will be available in black, red and champagne highlighted by a special coating that protects it from spills and wear and tear. The VNB100 will have the following features – Intel Atom N270 CPU, 1GB of RAM, 160GB HDD, 10.2-inch display, 1.3MP webcam, Wi-Fi, memory card reader, 3 USB ports, ExpressCard 34 slot.
Meanwhile the VNB101 which also happens to be the more expensive of the two and looks more like a luxury netbook similar to the Eee PC S101, boasts of the following specs – Intel Atom N280 CPU, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, 10.2-inch display, 0.3 webcam, memory card reader, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 2 USB ports and a Li-Polymer battery.
The VNB100 and VNB101 are slated for release at the end of this month in Asia-Pacific and later this year for the European market. Price tags are at £256 for the VNB100, and £293 for the VNB101.
