ViewSonic Intros its VieBook Netbook

The netbook scene at the CES in Vegas was not dominated by just Asus, Sony, and MSI. A not so well publicized netbook was also launched at the event coming from ViewSonic, more popularly know for their LCDs and other display products.

ViewSonic’s netbook which is called the VieBook is your usual 10.2-inch netbook packed with the usual netbook specs and features. These include:

• 1.6 GHz Intel Atom processor
• 1GB memory
• 160GB HD
• Ethernet LAN connection
• Wi-Fi
• Bluetooth
• 1.3 megapixel webcam
• 4-in-1 card reader
• Microsoft Windows XP Home
• 3 hour battery life

The ViewSonic VieBook will be released sometime in February with an SRP of $429.
