ViewSonic Launches ViewPad 10s in India

ViewSonic has launched a 10″ tablet dubbed as ViewPad 10s to the fast growing Indian tablet market. The device features 512MB of DDR2 SD RAM memory, 512MB ROM and 32GB microSD expansion.
The ViewPad 10s is powered by Nvidia Tegra 2 dual core processor that has two independent processor core along with an ultra low power consuming graphics chip. The tablet has 10.1″ LED backlit display with 1024×600 pixel resolution capable of 1080p HD video playback and a 1.3MP front camera. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have a rear camera. ViewPad 10s runs Android 2.2 Froyo.
ViewPad 10s is available for Rs 17,000 (USD 350). Viewsonic in India has tied up with Reliance Digital, a popular local retail chain, for nationwide distribution.
