ViewSonic Launches Windows 7-Powered VNB102 Netbook

ViewSonic joins the ranks of  netbook manufacturers which released their individual Windows 7 powered netbooks by its newest netbook model – the ViewSonic VNB102 netbook. The VNB102 netbook boasts of  a 10.1-inch (1024×600) LED display, Intel Atom CPU N270, 160GB of HDD, 1GB of RAM and of course Windows 7 Starter Edition.

Other feautures of the VNB102 netbook include – built-in WiFi, VGA output port, and 6-cell battery good enough for 6 hours of computing.

The ViewSonic VNB102 is scheduled to be released around December 18.  for a suggested price of $399.

    A word from a ViewSonic user. My 19″ went black on 12/10/09, ViewSonic told me it went out of warranty on 11/23/09. How do they time the products to fail two weeks after warranty? Here is a portion of their reply to me: I hope that the above information will be helpful in addressing your concerns. If the resolution given may not resolved your issue, it is possible that the problem is hardware related which requires to service the unit. Based on your serial number QFP063402672, it appears that your unit is already out of warranty and ended last 11/23/2009. I would recommend to send your unit to any local repair center near your area to further diagnose or service the unit or contact our authorized service center for out of warranty repair at:
