ViewSonic To Unleash Its ViewPad G70 at MWC

Viewsonic will unveil its newest 7-inch tablet, called the ViewPad G70, at this year’s Mobile World Congress in Madrid. The tablet will come with a customized and Google-approved Viewsonic user interface. This means that Android Market will be available on the slate as well as other popular Google services. Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich will be its operating system.
The device will have an ultra-light body and a more square appearance than the Viewsonic ViewPad 7x. Its dimensions, however, are still currently unavailable.
The tablet will have a high-resolution display at 1024 x 600 pixels, and a pixel density of 169ppi. This density is also found on the Viewsonic ViewPad 7x which was launched last year in August.
It is also expected to carry various ports, including mini HDMI, micro USB and mini USB. There will be two cameras, the rear one having a pixel count of 2 MP, which makes it lower than the one found on the ViewPad 7x.
The device will also have a microSD card slot, perfect for expanding the memory. Its built-in storage capacity is 4 GB and its RAM is 1 GB. There are no details surrounding its processor, but it is expected to be dual-core, as is seen on most tablet PCs these days.
With only some time before the MWC, interested buyers only have to wait a while before they set their eyes on this new device from Viewsonic.
