Vpad Tablet Up for Grabs for $499
What do we have here? A tablet with 1GB of RAM and 160GB of HDD for $499? Seems like a good deal especially since the said tablet which goes by the name iiView Vpad looks pretty cool and could even pass up for an Apple product. But unfortunately its specs might convince you not to buy this tablet at all.
The iiView Vpad packs in a lowly Intel Atom N270 CPU and comes with Windows 7 Starter. Aside from this the Vpad does not come with an HD accelerator so chances are you might not enjoy watching Hulu or YouTube video on it.
Although there is an option for an upgraded version with 2GB of RAM and 320GB of HDD, still this won’t suffice for the fact that the hardware specs are not too commendable.
At any rate, if you can’t wait for the iPad and has the money to burn on the Vpad tablet, have fun and do update us of your impressions about it.
You can get the Vpad from here.
