WePad is Not the Plural Form of iPad, It’s Another Tablet Device
Posted in: 11-inch, tablet, tags: wepadSomewhere in Germany, a company called Neofonie has came up with a new tablet device called WePad. And as what Brad said, the company is not really selling two iPad. WePad is a different tablet. In fact it is so different from the iPad, except for the touchscreen display.
Anyway, the WePad features an 11.6-inch display with 1366×768 pixel resolution, Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz CPU, GMA 3150 graphics, 6 hour battery life, webcam, and an integrated UTMS modem.
And guess what WePAD also has an AppStore. Looks like the folks at Neofonie are pretty serious about this tablet.
No for the kicker – WePAD will also run on Android. This means you can have access to the Android market. So, it would be pretty interesting how some of the great Android apps would run on a bigger screen.
No words on pricing and release date yet. But you can read more details from NDevil if you can understand the German language or use Google translate.
