An article in Digitimes hinted that the next-generation Eee PC may actually support touch-screen navigation. Although Asustek president Jerry Shen has already said that this is not likely to happen, still some touch screen panel manufacturers indicated that the new Eee PC may actually sport a touch-screen panel. Further to the rumor, the panel makers even hinted that the new Eee PC may even employ a resistive touch screen panel technology which is more mature than those of the medium-size panel applications.
And how would it affect pricing of the new Eee? It could probably go higher for around $10.If this rumor is actually true, then Asus may be coming up with a winner again.
