Well it didn't take Dynamism to offer the Sharp netbook equipped with an LCD trackpad. The Sharp Mebius NJ70A is now available for pre-order at the Dynamism online store. And guess how much it would cost you to own this netbook with a special feature, which is the LCD trackpad? A whooping $999!
Unfortunately aside from the 4-inch LCD trackpad, the Sharp Mebius NJ70A doesn't seem to offer anything more than what other 10-inch netbook can offer for a lower price.
Let's see, the Sharp Mebius NJ70A features an Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz CPU, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, 10.1-inch 1024x600 and of course the 4-inch LCD trackpad. This trackpad can be used to navigate and zoom in on web pages that you are browsing, or even Word documents. You can also use it as an integrated calculator, light photo editing and even for playing games.

wow, for me no thanks, I’m interested in one of 250… and a laptop around 400 to 600, no more than that.
Well, it is supposed to be innovative, and certainly has potential (at first glance). But innovations are only good if you start from a decent base, and totally ruined otherwise.
Sharp totally ruins it by trying to save a few pennies on the keyboard by using the eee701 arrangement we all know and hate. Fix the RIGHT SHIFT KEY people. Then your innovations may actually mean something.
As it stands this is less usable than netbooks with a third of the price. Even Asus fixed their act in keyboards. It should tell you something.
