Fairly decent laptops are becomming so cheap now i like to replace them every few years and just buy something in the mid range to budget area.

I dont recommend buying the OLPC, theres a rugged one by JumPC. Which is a modified version of the classmate pc. so buy that and with the DVD drive and install Windows XP Pro with er, office or openoffice and connect, youre done!

Well, i dropped orange juice on my eee-pc, and after two, 2-hour clean up sessions, i am left with a mostly annoying kb where some keys hardly work, nd typing is really a pain. I would buy a replacement keyboard, but guess what, Asus doesn’t sell them. Too bad, ’cause I love my 701 otherwise …
