Xperia Tablet S Sales to Resume by Mid-November as Expected
Even the greatest is not perfect; nothing yet is; this is what the Sony Xperia faces. Early in October, it was announced that Sony Xperia Tablet S is to experience a manufacturing blunder caused by the waterproof capacity of the device. Confirmed from Sony in Japan circulates that the sales of the 9.4-inch Xperia Tablet S is able to recommence its sales gradually by the middle of November.
Suspension of sale was ordered when the company ascertained a manufacturing shortcoming or defect on a number of units which consented water to breach its water-resistant chassis. This was reported to be due to a minor space between the display panel and the back of the product.
Fundamentally, a gap has occurred between the display and the back of the unit, allowing water as well as other liquids to the Xperia S’s inner sanctum, arguably short circuiting.Said flaw in some of its units was discovered by the Sony and then promptly halted the sales of the Xperia S after 100,000 tablets had been shipped worldwide.
As a deal and cure, perhaps, Sony is filling into the gap thru its current offer of a free inspection and repair service in most territories via any local Sony Center.
