zumodriveIf you don’t feel like upgrading your netbook’s storage capacity with new SSDs or HDD and you don’t mind going into cloud computing, then ZumoDrive has something to offer to you – 1GB of additional storage for free.

ZumoDrive is a cloud computing service which supports the iPhone and netbooks.  If you’re new into this kind of service it simply means that you are provided with free storage space on the web which you can access anywhere you are connected to the Internet.  The idea is since it does not reside on your netbook’s storage, it extends its storage capacity without overflowing your HDD or SDD’s capacity.

You can practically store anything on your ZumoDrive – songs, photos, videos and other files.  The service simulates your system’s file manager so you can practically perform anything on those files.

To use the service, you need to create and account an install the ZumoDrive application on your netbook. And if 1GB extra storage is not enough for you, then you can opt for more storage capacity by paying $2.99 subscription.

  1. hey very good.. that’s what I need

  2. I don’t understand why anyone would use these type of sites that offer 1-2gb free storage when Dropbox offers 25gb (and I think Skydrive from MS does as well).

yup. I was just gonna say. I’ve got a skydrive through MS Live. 25GB for free. If you create an MS Live Group, you get another 5GB. All for nothin.
