Adding some more netbook models into our collection of “Computex debutants” are two netbooks from First International Computer (FIC) - the CE2A1 and CW0A1. Pardon the lack of “cool” branding, but these two netbooks are not to be outdone by competitors for their features and specifications.
Both FIC netbooks sport an 8.9-inch LCD display and same industrial design. Differentiating the two netbooks are their CPUs, the CE2A1 has 1.2GHz VIA C7-M ULV processor with VIA VX800 chipset while the CW0A1 boasts of 1600MHz Intel Atom processor N270.
Additionally, both netbooks features; centrally-located touchpad, a 1.3-megapixel webcam, 802.11b/g wireless LAN, 4-cell Lithium-Ion battery (6-cell optional) and a 1.8-inch hard disk drive with up to 160GB of internal storage.
The CE2A1 runs on Windows Vista Basic, Windows XP Home Edition or Linux operating system support while the CW0A1 runs on Windows XP Home Edition or Linux operating system support.
